§ Note
All of it on a Leica M11 with an old R lens on an adapter — manual focus, manual aperture, which is why the readings wander from frame to frame. The numbers are the camera's own.
§ Where
The Berlengas sit about ten kilometres off Peniche, on the Portuguese west coast. Roughly forty minutes each way, longer if the swell is up. Óbidos is an hour inland.
